Q: Why aren't you responding to my mails?

A: I have outsourced this task to India. I have been told that from time to time e-mails remain unanswered. I will need to get in touch with my business associate in order to resolve this issue.

No, seriously! I enjoy getting to know new people, but very often I don't have the time to respond to the mails I am receiving. Sometimes I put mails into a "pending" folder and answer them later, sometimes I choose not to respond them at all. Please don't take this personally. The shorter your mail and the less you ask me to do, the more likely it is that you will get a response.
